Applied Photophysics: Upgrades, Options and Accessories
Applied Photophysics has a wide range of upgrade options for existing customers. All current instruments can benefit from a wide range of accessories which are available as options for new purchases and as upgrades to customers with existing machines. For customers with older instruments, there are still many accessories which can be purchased.
Customers with older SX and PiStar instruments can now benefit from a complete overhaul of the electronics and software for their instruments. The Pro-Data upgrade includes the Pro-Data modular electronics system and associated hardware components, and the Pro-Data Software Suite.

The Pro-Data upgrade for PiStar is much more than a simple software upgrade. It comprises replacement of the electronics rack within the PiStar PLS with the latest fully modular design. The RISC OS Acorn computer is replaced with the latest network-ready PC running Windows™ XP and the Pro-Data suite of Applied Photophysics instrument control and data handling software. In addition the system will be given a complete service. In short, it will give you an all-but-new PiStar stopped-flow CD spectrometer. The Pro-Data PiStar upgrade carries a 12-month warranty and is available now for modernising the operation and functionality of all existing Applied Photophysics PiStar stopped-flow CD systems. SX-Series Pro-Data Upgrade |

The Pro-Data stopped-flow upgrade is much more than a simple software upgrade. It comprises extensive replacement of all electronic hardware in the photometric unit(s), PMT detectors, sample handling unit and monochromator(s) plus a full refurbishment of the sample handling unit. The RISC OS Acorn computer is replaced with the latest network-ready PC running Windows™ XP and the Pro-Data suite of Applied Photophysics instrument control and data handling software. In short, it will give you an all-but-new stopped-flow spectrometer with all the performance and other benefits of the latest SX20 model. The Pro-Data stopped-flow upgrade carries a 12-month warranty and is available now for modernising the operation and functionality of existing Applied Photophysics stopped-flow systems purchased since 1990.
