α-Helix and β-Sheet; The Expanding Role of Circular Dichroism (CD)

We are hosting a series of webinars from scientists using circular dichroism (CD) to make informed decisions and advance their research.

Webinar List (available to registered users):

  • "The Wonderful World of Protein Circular Dichroism" by Dr Krishna Mallela, University of Colorado
  • "Using Circular Dichroism to Quantitatively Compare the Higher Order Structure of Protein Biologics" by John Gabrielson, KBI Biopharma
  • "Multi-Dimensional Conformation Analysis using Circular Dichroism" by Dr Russ Middaugh, University of Kansas

Webinar 1: The Wonderful World of Protein: Circular Dichroism

Presented by:

Dr Krishna Mallela
Associate Professor of Biophysical Chemistry
Center for Pharmaceutical Biotechnology
University of Colorado

19th June 2018

Dr. Mallela presents his use of Circular Dichroism to probe protein structure, stability, folding, and aggregation.

Using a recent case study using CD, Dr. Mallela discusses how polysorbates, common excipients used in protein formulations, interact with monoclonal antibodies.
