LKS80 Discontinuation

Dear Scientist

Our laser-flash photolysis systems have served scientists throughout the world for many years. However, they have become increasingly costly and difficult to service and repair. In recent years, rather than increase your costs for parts and service, we have maintained our standard fees. However, we are now faced with the reality that several of our sub-suppliers are no longer able to manufacture many of the replacement parts. We have therefore taken the decision to withdraw all laser-flash photolysis systems from our product portfolio.

Orders for spare parts placed after August 1, 2018 are at risk of not being fulfilled. Orders for service placed after August 1, 2018 cannot be accepted.

After October 1, 2018, we will be unable to provide service, parts support and manuals.  This includes phone, email and online support from Customer Support.  Should you need advice or customer service before this time, please contact

We are investigating the potential for a third party to provide some level of support and training. If this becomes possible, we will immediately contact all laser-flash users registered in our database.

We sincerely regret having to make this decision and apologize for the inconvenience and disruption that it may cause.
